when you say repository server, it's a file server?
It's not using Samba or anything like that, more like a static repo for storing iso's for various builds as well as builds for various teams.
When you say the user can't connect to the drive randomly you mean when they connect the first time or from time to time, the drive disconnects even when they use the drive?
If the issue appears when they connect, you will have an issue with the authentication, if your users lost the drive when they use it, i would think an issue with the network and if the drive disconnect when they don't use that a setting problem.
You know the exact scenario when your users have the issue?
