Import Certificate to Machine Certificate Store Not Working

I am trying to use the "Import" function when managing certificates on a managed server in Windows Admin Center. I am browsing to the "Local Machine -> My" folder to import the .pfx certificate to the Personal certificate store for the machine. The process acts like it is completing successful with a "Successfully imported the certificate" message in the notification area after importing the certificate. However, the certificate never does show up on the "My" folder or anywhere else on the machine. I have tried this with more than one server and they always come back indicating success, but never truly do import the certificate.

Here are the options that I am using for the exported .pfx file that I am trying to import (in case this matters):

• Yes, export the private key.
• [Selected] - Include all certificates in the certification path if possible.
  • I have also tried without this option.
• [Selected] - Export all extended properties.
  • I have also tried without this option.
• Password
  • Encryption - Tried both "TripleDES-SHA1" and "AES256-SHA256"

Any help would be appreciated to understand why this process is not working and how to troubleshoot this.
