Domain Controller Lost Trust Relationship

I really appreciate any help!

We are currently upgrading our environment from 2012r2 DC's to 2022 DC. So a lot of flilp flopping.

At the same time we added a new site because we have expanded our locations. Nothing wrong with that part just giving background.

So I build a server 2022 DC and promoted it to a DC. it had an IP of x.x.x.35. It was to replace the old DC with IP x.x.x.12. Once the server was up and running I left it go for a couple days to make sure things are working well. Last night I decommissioned the 2012r2 server with ip x.x.x.12. So I also wanted the new 2022 DC to have the old servers IP address, I changed the IP of the new 2022 DC to x.x.x.12.

once I completed that process and restarted, I lost the ability to logon to the server. I am getting a trust relationship error. I tried to log in and I got the security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship.

The only think I can figure out is the DNS is messed up. But how can I get onto the server when it is a domain controller and it does not use a local database.

This server is running in VMWARE and I was going to try to run DSRM to at least get into it but F8 is also not allowing me to start the DSRM process.

. Now that it is a DC, I cannot logon locally to try to fix the issue.

Thanks
