Antivirus Exclusions for Windows Admin Center

I'm setting up a Gateway server and I have yet to find any recommendations on whether or not I should exclude any files or directories from being scanned by our AV (Trend Micro Apex One). I was wondering if there are any recommendations for this?

    I have a practice for this, I will let system runs normally and observe performance and observe performance during quick scan and full scan. In case there are minor performance issue or no issue, I won't setup any policy. However, when I observed performance issue, I will investigate and exclude files. I will identify possible affected area and perform a custom scan to see whether it is issue or not.
