To transition your system from Windows 10 to Windows 11, please follow these steps:

    1. Ensure your computer fulfills the basic hardware prerequisites for Windows 11. I've written them at the bottom.
    2. Go to 'Settings', choose 'Update & Security', then navigate to 'Windows Update'. Press 'Check for updates'.
    3. If the upgrade is available for your system, opt for 'Download and install now'.
    4. Stick to the guidelines displayed on your screen to finish the upgrade process.

You also have the alternative to use the PC Health Check application to confirm your system's eligibility and proceed with downloading and upgrading to Windows 11. Additionally, you can download and install it from Microsoft’s official ISO file or use the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool.

If your system doesn't receive the Windows 11 update through Windows Update, despite being supported by Windows 11, you can bypass this delay by downloading a utility directly from Microsoft’s website.

Several issues might lead to a failed upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, including:

    1. Your PC does not meet Windows 11's basic hardware prerequisites.
    2. Insufficient storage space.
    3. Presence of non-essential peripheral devices.
    4. Active antivirus programs.
    5. Running non-essential services.
    6. Initiation of unnecessary startup programs.
    7. Corrupted system files.
    8. Unstable or disconnected internet connection.

To address these issues, you might want to:

    1. Reboot your system and retry the upgrade.
    2. Free up some storage space.
    3. Detach any non-essential peripherals.
    4. Temporarily disable your antivirus software, non-essential services, and startup programs.
    5. Utilize the Windows Update troubleshooter.

Windows 11 requires the following minimum system specifications:

    1. Processor: A compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC) running at 1 GHz or faster, with at least two cores.
    2. RAM: A minimum of 4 GB.
    3. Storage: At least 64 GB storage.
    4. System Firmware: UEFI, capable of Secure Boot.
    5. TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0.
    6. Graphics card: A DirectX 12-compatible card with a WDDM 2.0 driver.
    7. Display: A display that is 720p (High definition) or larger, measuring over 9” diagonally and having 8 bits per color channel.
    8. Internet connection and Microsoft account: Necessary for the initial device setup, updates, and some features.
