Where is windows server 2019/2022 arm64?
- Elden_ChristensenJul 14, 2022
Microsoft
As Mary said, there is no ARM64 of Windows Server. This is an internal artifact that can be ignored, sorry for the confusion.
However, as we look to the planning for the next version of Windows Server... if an ARM64 would be interesting, very open to the feedback. Please provide details into the scenarios and use cases specifically around Windows Server that make ARM64 interesting to you.
Thanks!

Hello.
A very much interesting, and useful case scenario for an arm64 deployment of Windows Server 2022+ would be as a virtual server on Mac silicon.
The reasoning is that the bridge provided by Parallels Desktop would give small groups a chance to offload creative work to the heavy hitter PCs, while giving machines like the Studio Pro, or even the Mac Mini a very respectable and stable hub to manage the whole operation.

Elden_Christensen ARM64 Windows Server would be extremely useful for IoT appliances. I know there's Windows IoT already but it doesn't support a lot of the things that would be useful from a full Server edition. Especially if it's marketed for home servers rather than business servers. Small home standalone providers for IIS, VPN hosts, DHCP, DNS, wireless access points, and etc.
As a 100% remote worker, my personal use case is a home VPN server so I can log into my home network securely while traveling. A full on WinTel server is overkill, but a Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, or Libre Renegade would be a perfect fit. I could also see myself spinning up a dedicated IIS server on similar hardware. - PierreR1935Aug 25, 2022Copper Contributor

Hi
Some knowledge base articles already refer to the ARM64 version of Windows Server.
Example:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/devtest/inf2cat
Windows Version: Windows Server 2022 Arm64 Edition
Version Identifier: ServerFE_ARM64
Windows Version: Windows Server 2016 on Arm
Version Identifier: Server10_ARM64
I also found the Windows Server 2016 ARM64 ISO on the internet, it's however just a technical preview.

Is there any chance getting the ISO for Windows Server 2022 Arm64 Edition? Thank you.I would like to run this on a Raspberry Pi to give my trainees / students the chance to play around with it.
