Transfer RDP CALs to another server

It seems you can follow the steps outlined in the guide you linked. You’ll need also to make sure that both servers are properly configured and that you use the Remote Desktop Licensing Manager to migrate the CALs. It's important to ensure that Server2 is set up as the new licensing server and that the CALs from Server1 are correctly deactivated and transferred. Afterward, activate the 2016 and 2022 CALs on Server2. Mixing CALs from different versions is supported, so you should be fine with that setup. Just make sure to follow the procedure closely to avoid losing any licenses.
