Regardless, the vendor will be your best resource for resolution to the problem. The burden is on the developer to certify an application for a given operating system.
Got that, seems you'll need to ask the third-party provider if there's support for Server 2022 Essentials. If so, they should be aware and know of the fix.
Server 2022 don't have real Essentials edition anymore, you get Standard edition regardless
