Regardless, the vendor will be your best resource for resolution to the problem. The burden is on the developer to certify an application for a given operating system.

3rd party support sees "standard" in sysinfo and wants me to upgrade their software from "essential".
I have not found any answer if sysinfo should show windows server 2022 essential or if it will always show windows server 2022 standard even with an essential license key.- Dave PatrickJan 17, 2022MVP
Got that, seems you'll need to ask the third-party provider if there's support for Server 2022 Essentials. If so, they should be aware and know of the fix.
