Might try manual download / install the latest SSU

followed by the latest cumulative update.

Then the prerequisite SSU has already been installed. Nothing further is needed the instance is fully updated.

    Dave Patrick, unfortunately I am still having the issue. I am still researching, but no answer that has fixed it yet. Thank you for your response, however.
