Remote Desktop Web Access HTML5 certificate error after replacing
Hi everyone. We needed to update our certificate in our RDS servers. Unfortunately, now users receive this alert: I know this is old, but I was hoping maybe someone found a better solutio...
Hi RahamimL , no that was correct.
The Tumbprint shown in the error message is the Thumbprint form the old Certificate?
You can also check in the RD Gateway Manager if the assigning of the certificate to the Gateway Manager was successfully.
Also check with the command "netsh http show sslcert" on the broker and gateway server the T
thumbprint of the certificate.

No, the error is of the new certificate...
- well then the new certificate is not assignd correctly in all locations. I had some issues that the certificates wasn't applied to all roles correctly. Check the netsh command and check again the certificates in the Server Manager on the Broker server
- The weird part is, if I'm using the same computer but open a different browser, (Not my default one). Or even open in incognito mode, the connection will work correctly...
- Check the certifcate store in your Browser
In case you use Chrome
In your Chrome browser, go to chrome://settings/privacy
In the top "Privacy and Security section, select "More".
Scroll down and select "Manage Certificates".
Select other people and check the cerificate
