RDS File Type Associations
I created a lab environment to test RDS using Windows Server 2019 servers (DC and RD Session host) and Windows 10 clients, either member or not of the AD domain. I am unable to configure File Type A...

Let me understand: do you mean that after setting the file type association on the RD server via GUI I have to enter the Set-RDFileTypeAssociation command on the same server for each RemoteApp?
Should I do anything else on the RD server and/or on the client?
At the moment I can't try, but I'll update as soon as I can make a test in my lab.

- I made some further investigation.
Based on page https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/80184/remoteapp-file-types-association.html and on some tests I performed in my lab it looks like the file types association can be implemented by creating a GPO and specifying the default connection URLin: "\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\RemoteApp and Desktop Connections" for users.
I still wander if there is a solution for clients not joined to the same domain.
