Print Spool Management Server 2016 and 2019
Does anyone have a deep dive information into how the setting "Print directly to the Printer" under Advanced spooling options for the printer works? Specifically looking for information regarding...
If you enable direct printing, the client sends the job to the printer. So the print server doesn't do anything in that case. For the second question, I am not sure. I think it depends if the jobs are sent to the printers queue, or the client parks them in the clients queue until the printer is ready to work. I would just try it out.
