Migrate from Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard to Windows Server 2019 Essentials, possible?

Is it possible to join a new Windows Server 2019 Essentials machine to the domain and have it assume control of everything then decomission Server 2008?

Primary Domain Controller

File Server

Print Server

Or am I better off setting up a completely new domain?

Not sure how to proceed on this one, any guidance is greatly appreciated!
