KB5017365 and KB5017367 broke icons published through GPO

Sep 2022, patches KB5017365 and KB5017367, broke GPOs which published icons to our VDIs.

Removing these patches fixed the issue.

 

Anyone faced this issue or has Microsoft acknowledged or released a fix for this?

    Have you tried installing other updates after this one to check if the problem persists?
    Do you have access to a Windows 10 or Windows 11 device?
    If yes, open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and select the Windows Server and report this issue and make sure share steps to reproduce the problem.
