Follow these steps to enable DHCP for Wi-Fi in Windows 10.
- Open the ‘Power User’ menu by pressing Windows key + X on the keyboard
- From options, select ‘Network Connections’
- At least two types of network connections are displayed – Wi-Fi and Ethernet
- Double-click on the active network connection
- ‘Network Connection Status’ window displays ‘Properties.’ Click on it
- Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 or Version 6 and click on Properties again
Now, for enabling DHCP, select both – ‘Obtain an IP address automatically’ and ‘Obtain DNS server address automatically.’
