Hi Thomas!

Quick correction - Microsoft did not add WSL until Windows Server v1709. Windows Server 2016 (LTS) does not have this feature unfortunately.

Yes, Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) is only available on Windows Server 2016 Build 1709 or https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/get-started/whats-new-in-windows-server-1803#windows-subsystem-for-linux-wsl.
