Task Manager and Performance Monitor are two tools that come to mind.

In my env one server got hang and rebooted, in this case how to check what caused for hang/slow perfomance.
Check the event log for reboot error details. Performance Monitor may help you with other issues.

- Just add make sure check the event viewer and you might find certain log files associated with this issue too.
