Has anyone had success with running 2 separate domains on one server 2019?
When I attempt to create a new forest, there are no options available. does anyone know of a solution to regain the ability to have 2 forests? (All options are grayed out for adding a second forest in 2019)
A single instance of windows domain controller can only be associated with one domain, but you can install hyper-v role only on host, then stand up two virtual machines. One for each domain controller in the separate domains.

Not clear what you're trying to do. Something here might help.

Dave Patrick Thanks for the reply and I know this is a confusing theory, I have a client that im setting up their Primary Domain who (as i have just found out) has 2 separate primary domains (No child domains) and they want both domain controllers to be running from the same Server 2019 install (Cost cutting)
Any ideas how I can run 2 parent domains from one server?
