FSMO hold into virtual or physical server
Assuming the availability is equal then physical/virtual would not be a consideration. Some guidelines here on roles placement.

I remember old in the days, Windows 2003, the recommendation was to have the FSMO and the PDC in a physical, for timing issues and sync as the hardware will provide better accuracy, but I don't think this is applicable these days.
So if its on Virtual or Physical and you are maintaining the HA, then no worry.

Yes, no worries, just configure affinity so that all domain controllers would not migrate to a single host.
