Can't convert windows server standard core version to licensed copy.
Tomorrow I'll try this with the Server 2022 eval and if it does the same thing, I do have an internal email group I can bring it up in.

Any resolvement for this issue?- Miguel_SallesJan 30, 2023Copper Contributor
ThaDaVos I have the same problem. Last step to put server in production and now we cant activate properly.
It seems there was something related on 2016 version. See the quote from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/get-started/upgrade-conversion-options
"Important
For releases of Windows Server 2016 prior to 14393.0.161119-1705.RS1_REFRESH, you can only convert from evaluation to retail when Windows Server has been installed with the Server with Desktop Experience installation option (not Server Core). Starting with version 14393.0.161119-1705.RS1_REFRESH and later releases, you can convert evaluation editions to retail regardless of the installation option used."
