hello,
are you wanting me to type that in powershell and copy the resuls and paste it here?

you can access this from control panel
this is how DNS section of your DNS server (which is a different Windows server with DNS server role installed in it) should look like.
And this is how DNS section of your client computer, the one that is trying to contact your domain controller, should look like
The IP address i put there is just an example, you need to set your own DNS server's IP address there.
Please consider using one of the free guides to set up your DNS server if it's the first time. you will get the hang of it eventually 🙂

Thank you, hmm lets see,
you need to type the full domain name in the there, so instead of "contoso" you need to type "contoso.local" or something like that.
do you remember which domain name and extension (such as .local .com .net etc) you chose when you were setting up Active Directory Domain Controller role on your server?
in this step:
from this guide

yes, i have tried the domanin name i setted up with too which is contoso.com and its still coming up wiith the same error.

Well that's because http://contoso.com/ is a real world domain owned by Microsoft.
you need to use a local domain for your setup, one that is not taken, or buy a domain and add it to your server.
though I think you can use http://contoso.com/ if you set your Windows client's DNS settings to only point to your own local DNS server's and not any outside DNS network.
then on your DNS server, you should put 127.0.0.1 in your primary DNS server and leave Secondary DNS server empty.
only this way you can achieve that.
