Need Powershell script to remove versioning from SharePoint Doc Library with over 500,000 items

We have recently been "recalculated" by Microsoft forcing us to purchase 1 Tb more space which is extremely expensive.  We must be using at least 300Gb or so of versioning but cannot find a script that's reliable, works with MFA and will work with over 500,000 files.  

Is there anything recent that is reliable and works?
