cmdlet Remove-TransportRule is not present in the role definition of the current user
I am hoping someone can help me. I have logged into O365 Exchange as the Global admin but still, I am not able to delete Rule or connectors.
In PowerShell, when I run the command Remove-TransportRule, it throws an error: The term "Remove-TransportRule" is not recognised as the name of cmdlet.
When using the interface, it complains that I cmdlet Remove-TransportRule is not present in the role definition of the current user.
Any help and suggestion is highly appreciated.
- Global Admin is an Organization Management member by default, so that should work... Could you verify this from the https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com/#/adminRoles page? You could create a role group for the Transport Rules role and add yourself in it?

Harm_VeenstraThank you very much for the pointers. For some strange reason Global Admin has dropped out of Organization Management. Added admin to Organization management fixed the problem.
- Strange 😅glad to hear that it's fixed, please mark my answer as solution to mark this as solved
