acelestial  put a -force

Clear-ASMonitoringSqlDatabase -ConnectionString "Data Source=localhost;Initial Catalog=Monitoring;Integrated Security=False;User ID=xxx;Password=xxx" -MaxAge 3 -PurgeMode EventAgeMode -force
