Defender for Identity sensor install failing - error code 0x80070643

getting the same problem with error 1708 and 1709 installing onto a 2016 server hosted in azure.

If you tried the above, I suggest opening a ticket as well to be able to share more diagnostics info...

    yeah I think we will have to.
    the service had stopped and was unable to start before so attempted an uninstall - reinstall and seem to be hitting the same errors and logging errors as above
