Anybody knows a best YouTube playlist downloader for Windows 11? Please recommend!
Recently I found a great learning video playlist on YouTube, with dozens of videos, and I want to save them offline for easy learning at any time. But using the official YouTube download function, I can only save them one by one, and I can only watch them in the App, and I can't export YouTube playlist to the computer for playback.
I use Windows 11, and I have tried some tools, such as some YouTube playlist downloaders, but I found that many can only download single videos, or have limitations, such as low clarity or fees. I searched around on the Internet and saw that YT-DPL (a command line tool) has good reviews, but the tutorial seems a bit complicated, and I don't know if it is easy to use.
Is there any great god who has experience and can recommend a reliable method to directly download entire YouTube playlist to Windows 11 for offline playback? It would be best if it supports batch downloads, higher clarity, and can be exported to MP4 format! Thank you very much!
I had the same issue with YouTube playlists—so many videos and no easy way to save them. I tried a few tools and ended up using AIIClipDon. It’s super straightforward, supports batch downloads, and exports in MP4 with great quality. Perfect for Windows 11.
I followed this tutorial, worked for me.

I also wanted to save a YouTube playlist to my computer before, but I didn't want to install any additional software. Then I remembered that the screen recording function that comes with Windows can also be used as a simple YouTube playlist downloader for PC. Although it is a bit more manual, it is finally done!
- Open the YouTube playlist, select the first video, and play it in full screen.
- Press Win+G to bring up the Xbox Game Bar, and click the "Record" button to start recording the current screen.
- After the video is finished, stop recording and the file will be saved to the Video/Capture folder.
- Repeat the above steps for each video in the playlist until all videos are recorded.
Advantages:
- No additional YouTube playlist downloader for PC is required, the system's built-in function can complete the recording.
- Save in standard MP4 format and can be played directly on the PC.
Disadvantages:
- Each video needs to be manually operated, and the efficiency of batch recording is low.
- During the recording process, you need to ensure that the video is not disturbed and the playback time is equal to the recording time.
The whole process is to repeat it manually several times to record the entire playlist. Although it is not as efficient as a dedicated YouTube playlist downloader for PC, it is completely solved by system functions, and there is no need to worry about compatibility or quality issues. If you don't mind spending some time, this method is still quite reliable, especially since it can be done without installing additional tools!

YouTube Premium should be fine for this. Downloading YouTube playlists can offer users a convenient way to access their favorite content offline, but it comes with a range of challenges. First and foremost, the legality of downloading videos from YouTube presents a significant concern.
Secondly, technical difficulties often arise when trying to download youtube playlists. Unlike individual videos, playlists may contain numerous videos that require specialized software or tools to download in bulk. Many free tools may struggle with multiple downloads, leading to incomplete playlists or failures in transferring content. Additionally, YouTube frequently updates its interface and algorithm, which can render some downloading tools obsolete. Users may find themselves spending time and effort searching for reliable software or extensions that can handle the specific nuances of the changing platform.
Moreover, the quality of downloaded youtube playlist videos can be another pitfall. Users may wish to download videos in high definition, but not all tools offer this option or may compromise video quality during the process to download youtube playlist. This issue becomes even more critical for users who rely on the content for professional or educational purposes with youtube playlist downloader, as subpar quality can detract from the viewing experience. The varying capabilities of downloading software also mean that users must conduct research to ensure that the tool they choose meets their quality needs.
In addition to these concerns of working with youtube playlists downloader, users may also face storage limitations on their devices. Full playlists can accumulate a significant amount of data, particularly if they include high-definition videos. This not only requires enough storage space on the user’s device but may also impact performance if the device is low on memory. As a result, individuals must carefully manage their digital storage resources, making decisions about what to download and what to remove, which can detract from the convenience that downloading playlists is supposed to offer.
Finally, user experience can be adversely affected by the complexity involved in managing downloaded content. Once a youtube playlist is downloaded, users must organize, locate, and access the files across various media players or applications, which can be confusing. Additionally, updates or changes to the original playlist on YouTube won't be reflected in the downloaded version, making it challenging to keep track of new additions or alterations when you are using a youtube playlist downloader. Consequently, while downloading YouTube playlists may seem appealing, users must navigate a range of challenges that can diminish the overall experience, underscoring the need for consideration and planning before undertaking such actions.

When diving into downloading YouTube playlists. Always make sure your software or browser is up to date. If you’re using the Edge browser, for example, not updating it could mean missing out on features or improvements. It’s like trying to run a race in shoes that are two sizes too small! Regularly check for updates by going to Settings in your browser.
Seriously, don’t overlook YouTube's terms! Downloading Youtube playlist for unauthorized use can get you in hot water. If you're thinking about downloading things for a project or sharing them, make sure you have the rights to do so. It’s a great way to avoid any potential legal issues.
Before downloading YouTube playlist on Windows 11, make sure the quality settings meet your needs. Sometimes default settings might not get you the best resolution. With some youtube playlist downloader tools, you can choose the quality you want, so definitely take advantage of that! Nobody wants to end up with blurry videos, right? After downloads, make sure to properly tag or organize your files. I’ve made the mistake of downloading a bunch of videos and forgetting what each one was about. You might end up with a chaotic mess of files on your computer. Use folders and file naming to keep things tidy!
If these videos are important to you, don’t just leave them on your hard drive without a backup. Cloud storage solutions like Microsoft OneDrive can help keep your downloads safe. You don’t want to lose your favorite playlist because of a hard drive crash! Some videos are protected, like music videos or certain channels that don’t allow downloads YouTube playlists. Trying to grab these can be a waste of time and may lead to frustration. Check beforehand if the downloads are allowed, and don’t waste your effort on content that’s off-limits.
Using the "Save Video" feature in Edge for downloading YouTube playlist? The whole "Save Video" thing isn’t available on every version of Edge. So, if you're not on the latest build, you could miss out. It's kind of a drag to realize that your browser is holding you back just because you haven’t updated it yet! It’s essential to check for updates regularly, but who wants to think about that constantly?
- This one is a real bummer. You have to download YouTube playlist one by one. If the playlist has, say, 20 or more videos, that means a lot of repetitive clicking and waiting. I mean, who has time for that in this fast-paced world? It can feel like a chore rather than a fun way to save videos.
- Unlike some third-party Youtube playlist downloader tools that let you grab an entire playlist all at once, the Edge method forces you into this "slow and steady" race. It’s like getting stuck in traffic while everyone else zooms by on the express lane.
- You might not get the highest quality video possible. YouTube streams videos in various resolutions, and who knows what resolution Edge decides to download YouTube playlist? If you’re a stickler for quality, this could lead to frustration when you get subpar downloads.
