How to Hide the Date in the Windows 10 Taskbar?

How can I configure the Windows 10 taskbar to display only the time without the date? Is there a system setting or tool that can achieve this effect?

System setting or regional format adjustment is the tool that can achieve the effect of displaying only the time without the date in your Windows 10 taskbar. By customizing the short time format to exclude the date, you can have the taskbar show only the time.

    1. Right-click on the Start button and click on the Settings option
    2. When the Settings app is opened, select the Time & language category from the left section
    3. Access the Date & time page from the right-section
    4. Press the button available for Hide time and date in the System tray option (above the Additional settings option) to turn the option off/on.
  • Third-party tools like T-Clock Redux are your best bet for displaying only the time on the taskbar.

  • You can hide the the clock completely, that means time and date both will be hidden. Configure this at right click on clock, select taskbar settings > turn system icons on or off > turn off the clock option.

AFAIK, There's no setting to individually hide date and show time, at a time.

    Hope this helps!
