Will nano server be making a come back for containers or embedded devices?
Will nano server be making a come back for containers or embedded devices? I saw with the last version of nano you could get a full install under 400mb. The enhancements to the kernel that are coming to Windows Server 2022 would be useful in a tiny package for these types of scenarios

- Nano Server never disappeared and is still going strong in container world :). It's available as Nano Server container as one of the Windows Base OS images: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/windowscontainers/manage-containers/container-base-images. Recently we have made a few enhancement: 1) Nano Server container images released with Windows Server 2019 is now supported for 5 years to Jan 2024 ; 2) Nano Server container image released with Windows Server 2022 will be by default supported for 5 years.
What do you use Nano Server for?- We are looking in the aviation space for embedded devices
