ASP.NET Web App with C# and MS SQL Database

I want to implement the calendar control for my project so that when a user selects any date that he/she will be working from home and the date should be stored in the database and can be viewed by other employees 

 

So far I have the following Layout and I want to implement the one above

 Any suggestions on this, any help is appreciated
