Blazor App No Longer Compiles

I just updated MS Visual Studio 2022 Community Edition to version 18.11.0. After the update, Blazor apps no longer compile in for the release version, they still work for the debug version of the pro...

Thanks for your quick response. Much appreciated. Here are some things I have found:

  1. 1. I am sure it is not caused by anything in the project. The problem (compiles and launches in debug mode, compiles and does not launch browser, MS Edge, in release mode) hapens with every new web project, Blazor or Winforms that I create, with no code beyond the boiler plate code that MS provides with VS templates.
  2. 2. I can compile and launch in the release mode successfully, if I compile and launch from the browser link dashboard. 

This makes me believe that there may be a problem in Visual Studio or one of it settings. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find that setting. But at least I have a workaround with the browser link dashboard.
