To Do List Crashing at Startup After Upgrading to 2.98

I was forced to upgrade our To Do List software on my Mac today to the 2.98 version. It now crashes every time you start. Cannot run at all. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and got the same. Any ideas??? I use this list all the time. Mac is OS 12.6.6
