Stupid question? How do I record just me on the laptop?

OK I want to be able to record a speech using my laptop/webcam. 

Does stream/teams allow this? I would prefer not having to install other recording tools et al or using my mobile.

I'd like to be able to read a script/word document and have the webcam record me. I'm totally new to this so would appreciate any help.
