Stream Viewer in Teams vs. SharePoint/OneDrive
Given the roadmap feature ID 82039 "https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Stream%2CLaunched#:~:text=Microsoft%20Stream%3A%20Updated%20Web%20player%20for%20video%20%26%20audio%20files%20in%20SharePoint%2C%20Teams%2C%20Yammer%2C%20and%20OneDrive" that is now in General Availability, I am wondering why the viewer in Teams Streams viewer has more functionality than when I open a video from our SharePoint tenant.
Stream - SharePoint UI
Streams - SharePoint UI
Stream - Teams UI
Streams - Teams UI
Is there something our SharePoint admins need to do to get the better UI when viewing videos through SharePoint/OneDrive, etc.?
Thanks.

The top one is a video in SharePoint or OneDrive. The bottom is a video in Stream classic.
Stream classic still has more functionality like being able to generate a caption and transcript for any video uploaded.
Today captions and transcripts only happen for videos in SPO and ODB when you have live transcript enabled in a teams meeting recording. Ability to generate them for any video uploaded in ODB and SPO is on the roadmap for around April.
We still have a bit to go to get videos in SharePoint up to par with stream classic.
