Stream (mobile app) permissions do not match desktop settings

I recently shared a video link via email. When accessed from a desktop, the link directed users to the correct video version with the appropriate permission settings. However, when the same user accessed the link from their mobile devices, it directed them to an unedited, editable, and downloadable version despite the set settings. How can we prevent this from happening in the future?
