Stream API documentation
When will it be available?
Hi @MrNigel, API is definitely on our roadmap. The goal for our preview is that we nail all the feedback we get and incorporate that into the product before we share APIs. We'd love to hear your feedback both on the product and ideas on how you would like to use APIs so that we can consider that feedback.
Thank you for trying Microsoft Stream. How do you like it so far?
We'd love one of two things:
- An API that takes the url to your video page and return direct links to all the video files with information about their resolutions(mp4 files)
- A video player with JavaScript APIs allowing us to completely control the video experience like the one YouTube has for play, pause, seek, get current video time etc.
We will use it to allow your users to use their videos with https://h5p.org/interactive-video and other similar H5P video base content types.
