Query String in URL for Search

Dears,

when I search from the Main page for e.g. building it creates

https://web.microsoftstream.com/browse?q=building 

When I'm in a Channel, this seems not to work, e.g.

https://web.microsoftstream.com/channel/12345678-4444-4444-4444-98765432101?q=building 

It this a "feature" or do I have to use a different string for that?
