Can you manually choose 1080p in the quality options of the player? What is the than the result?

This is worst thing you can do.. Adjusting the video quality automatically. It might be intelligent from technological standpoint but from user's standpoint, I have very disturbing experience. Every now and then you keep adjusting the quality in a min long video. it puts a tremendous efforts on users eyes to adjust with it every time you did the adaptive bitrate streaming.
this is simply not needed. Give presets of resolution. and let users choose resolution which will select the quality in-turn.
I cannot say how frustrating this experience is in places where connectivity is fluctuating.
