Pause/Stop MS Stream video programmatically

I have a requirement to display MS Stream video on tab click. For this I have embedded the MS Stream link in SPFx component. if another tab is clicked to display different tab data then Stream video kept playing in background. Please suggest any approach if we can pause the video programmatically.
