I'm experiencing the same. I just started the migration process and used the migration tool to migrate a few videos, starting with my own. The migration completed successfully and didn't flag any errors or failures. However, when I try to play the migrated video, it opens in a new browser window but just keeps spinning and never loads or plays.
Any help or guidance is much appreciated.

I appreciate your reply Mollie. I can't imagine we are the only ones. When I tried to remigrate the videos that don't play, the migration errored out. I opened a support request but I haven't been able to connect with the agent.
