How long should we wait for trimming to process before giving up?

After performing a trim of a video, say a 1 hour presentation, how much time should we expect it to take?

It looks like it should be done now, but when I try to view it I get this error [Update: in Chrome 79.0.3945.130 (Official Build) (64-bit) (cohort: Stable)]:

In Internet Explorer it just hangs on the poster frame.
