Does the latest version of Stream support 360 video
My client is considering migrating from Kaltura to Microsoft Stream. One of the functional requirements is to be able to support 360 videos. Is this supported in the latest version announced last nov...

What do you mean by "support 360 videos"? Do you mean support streaming 360 videos at the same time? Or do you mean storing 360 videos?
There is no question that you can store as many videos as you want. The maximum is going to depend on if you store them all in the same SharePoint site or not and how large the file sizes are in total. But most likely no issue even if in a single site.
As for streaming 360 videos at the same time. . . that really should not be a problem either. But don't hold me to it depending on how many users are streaming at the same time. However, the Microsoft infrastructure using SharePoint is VERY robust.

- karen_dredskeJan 19, 2024Iron ContributorYes! You can store 360 degree videos in SharePoint. SharePoint Spaces uses 360 degree videos and I have stored then in SharePoint and used them in building out Spaces.
