Startup verification failed for newly incorporated company - records now synced, need manual review
Hi team,
I need a manual review of my Azure startup credit business verification. The automated check returned "We couldn't verify your startup. We'll switch you to a pay-as-you-go subscription once your remaining Azure credits run out or expire." No reason was given, and there is no option to resubmit.
Context:
- Company: I entered the legal name exactly as on the Certificate of Incorporation. The company was incorporated in India on 30 Sep 2026.
- I submitted the business details on the same day I received the Certificate of Incorporation. Because the company had just been incorporated, its records had not yet reached public databases at that time.
- Those records have now synced. The CIN and PAN can both be verified, and the company bank account is being opened.
- I'm a genuine early-stage startup.
Support history:
- Emailed email address removed for privacy reasons on 1 Oct 2026: no response
- Azure support ticket 2610030030000809, opened 4 Oct 2026: no response
Every listed Microsoft for Startups support link redirects back to the Azure portal, so I can't find another channel. My current credit expires in 30 days, so this is time-sensitive: I need to decide whether to continue building my startup on Azure.
Request: please escalate to the startup credits verification team for a manual review. I can share the company details, documents (Certificate of Incorporation, PAN, TAN), subscription ID and any other details privately.
Thank you.

Thanks for your response Jamony.
When I go to any link related to MfS or Microsoft for startups and every link to support points me back to azure. And within azure the only path for me is to request help is to create an azure support ticket.
Every link on the internet (aka.ms and all of the MfS pages) point me back to my Azure Startup page, but there is no pathway to MfS program support. It has been a frustrating experience to try and get a ticket to the startup team.
I am in the Azure Portal, and in the Startup version of the homepage, however there is no overview section on this page. All I have on my homepage are a list of my resources followed by "Try an AI App Template" cards and then 'Tools' cards. And the top right has "$200 of $1,50,000 credits unlocked" with the link for verification status showing "We couldn’t verify your startup....."
This is my homepage setting.
I already received an automated AI response to my query to go to Overview, Your Microsoft Team and Program support, however my Azure Portals startup homepage does not have 'Overview' and hence I cannot find where 'Your Microsoft team' is. I am wondering if this is an outdated step, or is there another way to reach 'Your Microsoft Team' and then get 'Program Support'?
TIA
You applied immediately after incorporation, and verification failed before your company records became publicly searchable. That timing may be relevant, but it does not establish why Microsoft rejected verification. Now that the records are available, use Microsoft for Startups program support rather than treating this as an Azure service outage. Microsoft documents access through the Azure portal’s startup homepage: Overview, Your Microsoft Team, then Get program support. Reference your existing ticket and request review of business verification, attaching incorporation evidence only through the private support channel. Include the exact legal name, application date, verification message, and when the official records became available. Ask whether the existing application can be reviewed or whether reapplication is required. Also ask explicitly about credit expiration; neither a manual override nor an extension is guaranteed. Avoid creating duplicate applications while awaiting instructions.
