Unable to connect Microsoft SQL Server management studio with SQL server express

Saleem_Hasan , you entered a wrong SQL Server name.

By default SQL Server Express is installed as a named instance "SQLEXPRESS" and here you have to use machine name + instance name, separated with a slash "\"

or select "Browse" from the server combobox.
