Supporting JDBC driver for SSL enabled SQL server

Dears,

We have enabled SSL certificate for network encryption in SQL server 2012 and 2016 environment without any issues but getting error from Application server side " Encryption is required to connect to this server but the client library does not support encryption; the connection has been closed. Please upgrade your client library."

Kindly advice.
