SQL Server update

Hi all, I have a question about SQL Server, it's updated by monthly windows update? As I checked the date in ODBC Data Source Administrator, it is as same as monthly windows update installation ...

stanleymok85 , beside highly important security updates, the SQL Server updates don't come with Windows LiveUpdate, you have to download & install them manually.

olafhelper , thank you for your reply, and do you know SQL Server (SQLSVR32.dll) is updated by Microsoft Monthly Security Update?

  stanleymok85 , ODBC is a client component, has nothing directly to do withe SQL Server updates.
  Install latest version from Download ODBC Driver for SQL Server - ODBC Driver for SQL Server | Microsoft Learn
