SQL Server not supported Windows 11 Home Version
I am facing the same issue. If someone got a solution for this please help. I tried installing sql server on 2 laptops of same model from HP omnibook 5. Installation succeeded in one laptop but failed in the newer one I bought 2 days ago. Tried a few things but nothing worked out.
The Omnibook 5 can be delivered with a Snapdragon CPU (ARM architecture).
If you've got the Snapdragon CPU, your computer can not run SQL Server.
If your model uses x64 architecture (Intel or AMD), you should be able to install SQL Server without any particular issue.
I have experienced that installing Sql Server Management Studio (SSMS) before installing SQL Server has led to installation failures.
If you've installed SSMS, please uninstall it and all SQL features before attempting to install SQL Server again.
You can uninstall these features from the "installed applications" page of the settings application.
Open Settings, go to Apps on the left hand menu, then installed apps. Search for SQL and uninstall everything.
