SQL server 2019 ver 904 error
I have a laptop that somehow had sql 2019 installed on it and as a result I am not able to open a Rockwell HMI file on other computers. I uninstalled 2019 on the laptop but need to open the project back up and am unable to do so now since the uninstall. How can I install 2019 back onto the laptop to update the sql from 2014 to 2019 so I am not getting the version 904 error anymore?
I’ve tried downloading the Microsoft sql server install iso and have done the upgrade from previous version to 2019 express and while the upgrade says it was complete, when I use the tool to check the sql version it still only lists 2014?
I don’t do any development in sql or create anything with it so it’s a mystery how 2019 was installed. I don’t even have the ssms installed.

Jason_L2320 , what's a Rockwell HMI file and in which way is it related to SQL Server?
If you get an error, then please post the complete error message, not only a number.
At all, your post is confusing and don't contain clear informations, so please provide them detailed.
