SQL server 2019 patching

Hi everyone,

I am newbie to this community, so as the DBA of SQL server.  Please forgive me if i log my query in wrong place.

I would like to patch the SQL server 2019 in my organization to CU23.  However, i would like to apply the latest GDRs as well.

I am a bit confuse with CU and CGDR.  It is because according to the online document of GDR patch, "To apply this update, you must have SQL Server 2019 or any  SQL Server 2019 GDR release through this SQL Server 2019 GDR installed."  Which means that i can only go for the GDR stream , but GDR steam only have CU22+GDR patch.

Appreciated if anyone can advise on this case.  Thanks.
