SQL Server 2019 CU

I just installed SQL Server 2019 Developer Edition and VS 2019, VS2022 Community with Data Tools and SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS extensions.

After this I tried to install CU21 but it failed.  When I opened Windows updates I have seen that It try to install Security Update for SQL Server 2019 RTM GDR (KB5021125) but it also failed.  What to do?

I downloaded KB5021125 and I tried to install it manually.  After extracting I was able to see a MS SQL installation process with 0% CPU (process stopped de-facto)

Thanks

I checked log files. It was not able to close service - SQL Server Integration Services Scale Out Master 15.0

I could do it myself because it is "automatic". I was able to close a process after I change it to "manual"

After this I got a similar massage with service SQL Server Polybase Engine. I did the same procedure and I was able to update SQL Server 2019 RTM to CU21. I am using SQL Server 2019 just for testing at my home computer. Therefore I don't need all of automatic services

By the way is it necessary to keep all of these processes running because I use MS SQL from time to time?
